Meta Integration (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp)

Meta Integration

Connect your Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp Business accounts to let the AI agent manage your DMs.

Connecting

  • Go to Settings → Integrations.
  • Click Connect Facebook + Instagram or Connect WhatsApp Business.
  • Log in with your Meta account and grant the required permissions.
  • Select which page/account to connect.

    • Requirements

  • Your Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account.
  • Your Instagram must be linked to a Facebook Page.
  • For WhatsApp, you need a WhatsApp Business API account.

    • Permissions needed

  • pages_messaging — Send and receive messages.
  • instagram_manage_messages — Manage Instagram DMs.
  • pages_manage_metadata — Access page info.

    • Troubleshooting

  • "Account not eligible" — Make sure your Instagram is a Business account linked to a Facebook Page.
  • Messages not arriving — Check that the webhook is properly configured and the page is subscribed to messaging events.
  • Rate limited by Meta — Meta has its own rate limits. The agent respects them automatically.
